The black sledge boxs are for carrying spares and tools for repairing the snowmobile. The tripod is the one I used in the Antarctic although I knew I would probably use it in an art work later.

I bought the yellow snowmobile on Ebay after I did some research into what type of snow mobiles were used by British Antarctic Survey. The model camera tripod I had to make from scratch.

The model figure is a Scalextrix spectator and I've painted it to look my field assistant in the Antarctic 'Fergal Buckley' who took a lot of my photos.
