​This work was originally made and shown in 2001. There is a long story behind it that can be read 'here'. It has been on show twice since then; the last time, with the addition of a small model rowing boat on the surface of the water. Here it has been adapted again; the rowing boat being replaced by a model container ship.

A sensor triggers a vacuum clear motor to blow open the lid of the spin dryer whilst simultaneously playing a record player that appears to be under water.
